Uniform Light Source Integrating Sphere

Uniform Light Source Integrating Sphere

Product Introduction

The uniform light source integrating sphere from Jingyi Optoelectronics is a hollow spherical cavity with an inner wall coated with white diffuse reflective material, also known as a photometric sphere or luminous flux sphere. One or more windows are opened on the sphere wall to serve as the light entry and receiving ports. The basic principle of the uniform light source integrating sphere is that light entering through the sampling port is collected by the integrating sphere and, after multiple reflections inside the sphere, is scattered very uniformly within the sphere. This ensures more reliable measurement results. Typically, several light bulbs are symmetrically and evenly arranged on the inner wall and the light exit port of the integrating sphere. The light emitted by the bulbs is reflected multiple times by the inner wall, forming a uniformly bright luminous spherical surface. The uniform light source integrating sphere is mainly used to measure the vignetting coefficient of photographic lenses and the uniformity of illuminance on the image plane.
